Altinet Ltd, a cyber security and data protection firm have been awarded the Cyber Essentials Accreditation for 2018, in preparation for GDPR which comes into place in May 2018.
Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective, Government backed scheme that helps you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks. The certification demonstrates that, at the time of testing, the Altinet defences are satisfactory against cyber-attack.
Altinet's certification gives our customers and technology partners peace of mind that our defences will protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks simply because these attacks are looking for targets which do not have the Cyber Essentials technical controls in place.
Altinet's Technical Services Manager, Ben Carr said that "it is a great achievement to complete the Cyber Essentials Accreditation. Security is changing the way businesses are at risk through multiple threat vectors including Ransomware, Spyware and Email Threats and it is essential that as a Cyber Security business we are taking that seriously".
Altinet also work with over 300 customers to help meet the Cyber Essentials criteria through a network threat discovery phase, product evaluations and strategy implementation.
