Cyber Security firm Altinet Ltd have announced their sponsorship deal with Matthew Baldwin for the upcoming British Masters, entering the world of professional golf for the first time.

With 10 years as a professional golfer, Southport-born Matthew has amassed a variety of achievements throughout his career so far, including playing in The Open Championship on two occasions and the US Open.

As part of the sponsorship, Baldwin will be present as a brand ambassador for Altinet, wearing the security firm’s logo throughout his participation in the British Masters event taking place at Hillside Gold Club on May 9th-12th. Matthew will also be supporting the Golf Festival being organised by the European Tour and spending time with junior golfers throughout the week.

“At Altinet we believe in the importance of supporting local communities and teams, and we’ve found that sports partnerships are a great way to achieve this – Matthew will be our first involvement with professional golf, making it an exciting and unique opportunity for us at a marquee event,” said Daniel Bailey, Director and Co-Founder of Altinet.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming our customers, partners and our team to Hillside to enjoy a brilliant weekend of golf and we wish Matthew all the best for the tournament as we follow his progress closely.”

Speaking on the partnership himself, Matthew stated, “Altinet is a fast-growing player within the cyber security industry, offering solutions and support that protect organisations from the growing number of cyber threats. I’m very excited to partner with Altinet for this event and welcome them to what will be a great weekend of golf.”
